The Horton Point Lighthouse, located north of downtown Southold, was constructed by the U. S. Lighthouse Service in 1857 and now serves as the Southold Historical Society`s Nautical Museum. The Lighthouse features exhibits on maritime history and whaling. You can also enjoy the spectacular views of the Long Island Sound.
